My Hilton Head Rental

Your stay is our priority!

A Great Palmetto Dunes Ocean Front Resort property!

There are a few things you should think about before arriving on the island for your vaction. The first is what time of year you are coming. If you are coming for spring break ( 3rd week of March through 2nd week of April) the island can be quite busy. The second week in April especially because not only are spring breakers here but the PGA Harbour Town tournament is that week also. From memorial day through Labor day are the busiest times for the summer. These are the times you really need to plan ahead.
Outfitters Bikes
The first thing you should do is call ahead if you are renting bikes. If you call ahead the bikes will be delivered to the unit that you will be staying at and picked up the morning you are leaving. Last year during spring break there was not a bike to be rented the 2nd week of April. All 4,000 were rented out at outfitters. If you plan on kayaking I would also make those reservations also.
If you are coming during busy season I would call about three weeks in advance and make any reservations at the places that you would like to dine. You could wait up to an hour and a half for a table during those periods.
You can find many numbers on our restaurant page to assist you with this endeavor

Dunes Buggy
During the busy season parking can be at a premium at the beach access locations. You can ride your bike from our St. Andrews property. It is about a 10 minute bike ride. Our Water Oak property is a 9 minute walk to the beach.
You can also take the Dunes Buggy. You can calland have them pick you up or you can actually schedule the times you want to be picked up. It is quite convenient.
